Common Dreams: Arabic T-shirt sparks airplane row

Its pretty sad when we are afraid of a person simply because they are wearing a shirt with writting in another language. Especally when the english translation is written just below. Oh My an Arab man with Arab writting on his shirt! is this really how we think? This is particularly sad because it was an anti-war slogan, “we will not be silent” that came from those in germany opposed to Nazi rule. Admitedly its an airplane its private property and they have the right to set a dress code if they want. At the same time what exactly qualifies as offensive? and what part of We will not be silent is offensive?
