Times Union: retroactive War Crimes protection drafted

I’m not really sure how to respond to the leader of my country saying that there never have been war crimes, but IF there were we can’t be held responsible for them… uh… k.

Seriously how does a congressperson respond when the president asks to introduce a law protecting him from WAR CRIMES. He should just plea the fifth right now and pretend this idea never existed. Say you were drunk go into re-hab, you were planing a ten day vacation anyway. We forgive celebrities pretty quick when they go into rehab and the president seems to get off easier than celebs in the media. I mean Mel said bad things about the Jews, Bush said bad things about Muslims then started bombing them. And people were immediately angry at Mel, It took years before most got mad at Bush.

Hat Tip to The Rural Patriot who took a far more intelligent look at this rather serious issue, and that’s why I shouldn’t be writing at 1am.
