National Security August 2, 2006

National Security is a big issue in this country. Obviously their is a need to defend ourselves in case of attack, the government has been feeding this down our throat for five years now. So if national security is so important then why are 2/3rds of National Guard troops are not combat ready? Of course I would like to know how many of them are normally combat ready, it sounds low but I’m not sure what is typical, the article only says “much worse off”.

Seeing as the party that is in power was elected based on tough on terror and national security then why are they allowing the war in Iraq to compromise national security?
